| 300 gr chicken thigh cut very thinly
(it helps if you freeze the chicken for 15-20 minutes before you cut it) |

| 1 tbsp salt |
| 1 tbsp white vinegar |
| 1 tbsp oil |
| 1 tbsp paprika |
| ½ tbsp oregano |
| ½ tbsp pepper |
| ¼ tsp onion powder |
| ¼ tsp garlic powder |
| ¼ tsp cumin |
| Pita bread, onion and tomato to serve it |
Instructions
- In a glass bowl put the meat and mix it well with the spices, the vinegar and the oil.
- Cover the bowl with cling film and marinate it for about 30 minutes
- In a pan (at medium high heat) add the chicken and brown for about 3-4 minutes until crisp outside but tender inside (time depends on how thin your chicken is cut)
- Serve gyros with pita bread, yogurt or whatever else you want
If you make a large quantity you can either cook it in batches or spread the meat at a big oven dish and cook it at high heat for 4-5 minutes. Also can be made with pork or oyster mushrooms
