CookinAthens is an independent Greek cooking school founded in Athens in 2019. Our philosophy is simple:the best way to understand Greek food is to cook it yourself. That is why our classes are fully hands on, with guests preparing the entire meal from scratch.
We cook with fresh, seasonal Greek ingredients and focus on the techniques and recipes of Greek home cooking, from hand rolled phyllo and traditional pies to meze, classic main courses and desserts.
Set at a spacious sunny renovated loft on the 5th floor of an industrial building, CookinAthens boasts a spacious veranda overlooking Acropolis. It is located at 90 Evripidou Street, at the busy neighborhood of Psyrri, just 7 minutes walk from Thissio and Monastiraki metro station.
At the end of each class we all gather around our big table in the dining room, to enjoy the fruits of our labor with a glass of wine.
